The Union of Designers of Russia continues the new competitive project “Russian Victoria”. The main goal of the competition is to identify the best ideas, professional developments and operating objects created in different areas of design. The objective of the competition is to promote high-quality goods and services on the domestic consumer market, creative initiatives, progressive ideas, projects and objects, executed by professional designers.
The competition is supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Council of Experts of Interior Design and Architectural Environment.
The jury, consisting of authoritative Russian and foreign designers, objectively and impartially assessed the competitive work of the participants.
The awarding ceremony was held on the Day of the establishment of the Union of Designers of Russia on December 5, 2014 in Moscow.
The highest award of the Contest is the Russian National Design Prize “Victoria”, awarded by the Jury’s decision to the winners for the most talented, novelty and originality works of design that received public recognition and are a significant contribution to the material and artistic culture of Russia.
The prize given to the winner in the contest nomination is a silver statuette of the Greek goddess Victory – “Victoria”. The Prize model was made by the Moscow sculptor Adolf Neustat.
